Administrative Team:

Michelle Moore our Office Administrator, knows how to make our family of patients feel welcome and eagerly takes care of any concerns. Welcoming calls from patients, Michelle answers the phone with a smile and always takes time to answer questions regarding treatment, filing insurance, or finding the right financial arrangement. She keeps our day running smoothly and makes sure our patients receive the best.

Having begun her career as Certified Dental Assistant 19 years ago, Michelle is happy to discuss the clinical perspective of any dental treatment in an down to earth and unhurried way.

Michelle lives in Conover with husband, Scott, two cats, and one dog. She loves boating, walking and anything outdoors. She loves spending time with friends and family...some of whom are patients.

Hygienists:

Wanda Woodring, Registered Dental Hygienist has a Bachelor of Science from UNC Chapel Hill. A member of our team for more than six years, Wanda's credentials are exceptional and her professionalism impressive. Her goal as hygienist is to create a long and lasting relationship with her patients as well as to work together with the patient as part of the team to achieve optimal oral health.

Education, Wanda feels, is one the most important roles of a dental hygienist. "It's very important for me that patients never feel they have been lectured or nagged. Rather patients should be well informed about their oral health and how it can affect their overall physical health and how to maintain healthy gums and teeth" Wanda's gentle, caring approach wins quickly the confidence of even the most dental phobic patients. It's not uncommon for her patients to say, "I just love her."

As a busy wife, mother of two daughters, and career woman, Wanda maintains a great spirit and sense of humor in all things.

Lila Cruise, Registered Dental Hygienist is passionate about dentistry and it's connection to the overall health of her patients. Lila says, "I'm inherently a teacher and find it extremely rewarding to help others maintain a beautiful smile that is also a healthy one."

Lila loves connecting with people...both patients and colleagues. She loves hearing "people stories." Talking with and educating her patients about their dental health is her daily goal: She writes..."May I have the wisdom to listen well and ask smart questions. I want to be positive in my analysis, always looking for the best possible solution for all concerned...and make my life a source of energy to someone in need. I have something valuable to give...my time, my God given talents, a listening ear. I'm ready to learn."

Lila's chair side style is both gentle and thorough. Her standards are high and she is always researching and new techniques and methods. As more and more research is done linking gum health to overall health, Lila will be ready to educate her patients on the latest findings.

The mother of two grown daughters, Lila loves hiking, bicycling, art, and design.

Dental Assistants:

Heather Parkhurst, Certified Dental Assistant has been in dentistry for six years. A graduate of Western Piedmont Community College Dental Assisting Program, Heather has been assisting Dr. G for the past two years. With an easy and confident way of approaching patients, Heather anticipates her patients' needs and Dr G's next move as if she's been in dentistry far longer.

Heather says, "She loves working with patients and providing them with the care they need and deserve." Calming nervous patients comes naturally to Heather with her easy sense of humor. Heather also takes every opportunity to educate patients for the success of their dental health.

Heather is married and enjoys spending time with her husband, five year old sister Emma, and her two dogs. Vacations are usually at the beach.
